2012 – Olympic Marine Litter Sculpture

A commission to create a life size windsurfing board from Marine Litter which was displayed in the Sailing Olympic Village, Weymouth, during the 2012 Olympics.

The commission also included a 2 week workshop with the public in the Olympic Village, creating a giant, marine litter wave sculpture to accompany the windsurfing board sculpture.

The campaign was raising awareness of marine litter, and the windsurf board sculpture was photographed for promotional purposes with the 2012 Windsurf Gold medallist standing on it.
